Vintage Deckchair Border

The Vintage Deckchair stripe was inspired by a beach trouser suit from the 1930's in the V&A museum in London. 

Sitting in the Angel Bay collection which is inspired by the coast in North Wales. Emma was influenced by the bright summer palette of the area - beach huts, sticks of rock, peeling paint, weather-worn rowing boats in the harbour - and Portmeirion with its Italianate style of architecture.   The Vintage Deckchair Stripe border is a highly adaptable design sits perfectly with the Angel Bay and Coastal Waters print designs.

Used as a dado or picture rail, or mitred around a doorway. The stripe border acts as a perfect decorative ribbon strip that will elevate any interior.
